The 2017 Regina Stoma Stroll
Saturday, October 7th was a beautiful fall day, a great day for a stroll to raise awareness and funds that support people with ostomies. The Regina group, with friends and families, met together for a morning of walking and visiting. Together we raised over $6,000 for the 2017 Stoma Stroll.

5th Stoma Stroll Awareness Walk – Saturday, October 7th, 2017 (930 to 1 pm)
“No Colon, Still Strollin!”
Rain or shine, Regina is hosting another Stoma Stroll Awareness Walk, based out of Community of Christ Church, 4710 – 8th Avenue. Registration is at 0930 and we have a “walk” staked out through the Grassick and A.E. Wilson park areas. There will be a short route and a longer route so all are welcome. And, if you don’t feel like walking just come for some coffee and/or some lunch. It would be great to see you.
If you’re able to financially support the effort, we have pledge forms and we’ll be taking donations on site or you can go on-line to make a donation.

2016 Stroma Stroll – “We Walk Among You”
In 2016 Canada Ostomy Day was Saturday, October 1st. Ostomy Canada Society encourages groups across the country to celebrate and raise awareness with theStoma Stroll Awareness Walk.
All funds raised go towards supporting our mission – we are a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to all people with an ostomy, and their families, helping them to live life to the fullest through support, education, collaboration and advocacy.
Here are photos and links that show the celebration of the day and some of the outreach we participated in with the local media.
